Hire us for your Event! 

Interested in having us perform for your event? Please see the technical specifications below and fill out the performance request form. 

Performance/Technical Requirements

  • Performance prices vary depending the length of the performance, amount of dancers, etc. If you have any questions please reach out to herenciasmexicanas@gmail.com

  • Sound system must be provided that can easily connect to an Apple device. Any necessary cables for connection must be provided. Audio can be provided in a different format upon request, such as USB, email, etc. 

  • Our folkórico shoes have nails and can scratch nice surfaces. Please keep this in mind. 

  • Changing rooms and parking near the stage must be available to dancers. A restroom is not an acceptable changing room. 

  • A deposit must be sent to book Herencias Mexicanas for your event. 

  • Herencias Mexicanas is a volunteer organization, all dancers and instructors work or study full-time. This will affect our availability for events and shows.  

  • Shows of 30 min or more require multiple costume changes and gear. An unloading area next to the stage is required.

  • If event entry or parking is required please contact the director so that passes may be sent and distributed to our performers beforehand. 

  • Correspondence will be via our email or the director’s personal phone number. We have a goal of replying within 1 week of your formal request. If your proposal is selected, we will make a call for dancers and schedule your performance. Dancers often sign up the week of the show, so it is difficult to get you a solid # of how many dancers will be available far in advance. 

  • Please submit your performance request 3-4 weeks prior to the date of your event. Events submitted within a shorter time frame are not guaranteed.
